I think it is hard to paint someth...Love this dog! I think it is hard to paint something black with its subtle value shifts, but you nailed it. I would suggest breaking the challenge into parts and then it doesn't seem so daunting. Maybe 10 days of dogs/animals, 10 days of flowers, 10 days of green. Or you could even break it up further.
