Along The Road with The May Exhibiion

I am halfway, in my painting marathon of forty paintings for the May exhibition. I have to stop every few days and tidy the studio as I seem to surround my chair and easel with all my materials, sketches, still life articles that weren't needed in the end! Paint soiled baby wipes, everywhere but in the bin! Vases of half dead flowers from previous paintings!

On Thursday I bought a little pot of mini Irises, they are just gorgeous, as well as a single stem of a regular Iris . I love purple and green... I may have you told you this before! I'm pleased with how this one turned out...need a title!
