I enjoyed doing this little one just because of the bright colours. It is so damp and foggy here just now, someone please turn the light back on!
I am struggling for subjects for tomorrow and hubbie hasn't had any more light bulb moments! We have a late night tonight so I hope I will be able to produce something worthwhile! I have just painted my studio floor, last coat hopefully so whatever I produce tomorrow I don't think I will be using oils. I have removed my watercolours, gouache and inks from the studio so I can work at the kitchen table till the floor dries! With this damp weather the drying may take some time! Have a nice weekend everyone!
Margaret, I love this one....my favourite colours. I am enjoying your painting a day journey very much....
ReplyDeleteThank you Maggie, this is a struggle as well as a journey! I feel happier with this one too.
ReplyDeleteWell, if you painted your floor today, take a picture of that and post a picture of it. :)
ReplyDeleteLeslie said there are no rules and painting a floor takes some skill, too. Unless you're like me, then painting the floor is purely by accident.
Do you know, Dave you have a point I could post the floor - believe me there was NO skill involved, a can of paint and a roller
DeleteArt painting rocks house painting not so much hope the floor dries quickly
ReplyDeleteyou are absolutely right! Me too!!
DeleteI hear that angst in your post - what to paint tomorrow - I am beginning to feel that well up inside of me now. These clips are so full of color and perfect! I really like the composition in this one. It is damp and cold here in Kansas U.S.
ReplyDeleteThank you Patti, I am pleased with this one, not so every day! Yesterday I stupidly brought a new blue onto my palette and it really threw me! I won't be doing that again! So at least I learnt something from the exercise! Good luck to you with a subject to paint and hopefully your weather will improve in Kansas, snow is coming to us on Monday they say!
ReplyDeleteDay 11 already...love the colours in this one. How about painting the roller & can of paint?
ReplyDeleteSorry to say we have had blue skies & sunshine all morning here in Sicily!
You are so clever!!!! Thank you I will use that as my subject!! Send a photo of your lovely weather when you get the chance, you lucky thing!
ReplyDeleteLove this, simple and beautiful colors!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Karen
DeleteI like this one a lot, great design and color, Margaret!
ReplyDeleteThanks Fay, I enjoyed this one too
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun and Happy painting! Love the composition.
ReplyDeleteThank you! For once composition was easy as there wasn't a great deal of choice!
